Dr. Jennifer Bandy, Owner, Clinical Director


Dr. Bandy is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Missouri and a committee-approved LPC supervisor.

Dr. Bandy holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in International Psychology degree from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.  Her International Psychology degree program included two field experience requirements, in China and Japan.  

Dr. Bandy was a Research Fellow for the Stanford School of Medicine, Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education, Summer Research Institute.  Additionally, Dr. Bandy was an Edward A. Bouchet Graduate Honor Society Nominee and was selected as a doctoral student for the Preparing Future Psychology Faculty (PF2) intensive program as well as the Teaching Online Pedagogy and Standards (TOPS) faculty training at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.  

Dr. Bandy also holds a Master of Arts in Counseling degree and a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Psychology degree, both from Dallas Baptist University.

In addition to offering psychotherapy and consulting services, Dr. Bandy is currently a counseling professor and is an editorial review board member for an international academic journal.  She has previous experience administering non-residential counseling services for survivors of family violence at a non-profit agency where she counseled women and children of all ages utilizing individual, group, and play therapy.  Further, Dr. Bandy's experience includes working in community mental health settings where she counseled children, couples, and families with diverse mental health needs.


Dr. Bandy has presented for various organizations, including the American Psychological Association’s 2016 annual conference, on topics such as:  International Employee Wellness Programs (EWPs), cultural competence, communication skills, stress, and related subjects.  She enjoys reviewing publication submissions for an international academic journal and continues to engage in scholarly work.
